Of course! ActiveReception is sold on a Site & Seats basis allowing you to add as many sites to your subscription as you like without limitation.

Q: What kind of functionality guarantee do you provide?

We are the only company that guarantees you 99.99% uptime. If our server is not in service for any more than 5 minutes in any given month then we will refund you! This does not include scheduled periodical maintenance which will be performed during off peak hours for minimal interruption to service.

Q: Can I transfer the chats from operator to operator?

Yes, in a couple of clicks you can have your customer chatting to a fellow operator in the blink of an eye along with the full transcript of the conversation up to that point.

Sure. It is very easy to show the customer on which page to find the information he needs. A new window with the pushed webpage will open on the visitors monitor.

Q: How many clients at once can one operator deal with?

The number of clients the operator can chat with is unlimited but there are human limitations which will determine how busy one single operator can get. If you have 5 fast paced chats it may keep your operator busier than in a situation where 15 customers are chatting but with infrequent questions. It is possible to choose to restrict the number of chats each operator can simultaneously manage.

Q: What are common responses or, ‘Canned Messages’?

Common responses are predefined answers to some repetitious questions or phrases, such as, “Good morning, may I help you?” Through the very simple to use operator console you can navigate to the canned messages configuration page and set up as many messages as you like; even organize them by department or keep them private for use only between operators.

Q: Can we still receive messages if we’re offline?

Yes, when your all operators are logged-out, your website visitors will see off-line status graphic as it changes automatically. The visitor can click on this and ‘Leave a message’.
 

 

Q: Is the free-trial period really FREE?

Yes, you have no obligations in this period. We do not require any payments forwardly to use it. After the period, you’re completely free to decide upon continuing usage with a subscription that suits you or just leave it. Just copy the code you got in the e-mail (after getting the free trial), and paste it in a position of your web pages where you want to have the chat button.

Q: How can I continue using the application after the free-trial period?

It’s a very simple procedure. Just go to www.activereception.com and login with your "administrator" username and password that we issued to you. You can then choose your subscription to accommodate your needs. You will be given this information via email upon signing up for the free trial so no need to remember this!

It won't affect the work of your website. ActiveReception chat button uses background requests to communicate with our server which don't interfere with the work of your website.

ActiveReception is build in PHP/MySQL using AJAX and javascripts.

The chat invitation window is initiated on the website itself and thats why is not blocked by the pop up blockers.

Q: Do my website visitors need to download any plug-ins to chat with me?

In order to chat with your operator, your website visitors only needs a web browser which has enabled javascript and set-up to accept cookies (1st party).
